I had a chance to sit down and chat with Will Manion. Will claims his largest accolade is, "1999 Bronze Medalist in the 25 Breaststroke at the Pheasant Run vs. Pomona Dolphins Duel Meet," but on top of that IMPRESSIVE accomplishment he is also a 2012 and 2016 Olympic Trials Qualifier, CAA Rookie of the Year, 15-time CAA Conference Gold Medalist, and a two-time New Jersey State Champion.

Take a couple of minutes to hear from Will about some Mindset techniques that would help any athlete improve, including Goal Setting, Pre-performance Rituals, the importance of reflection on building Confidence, and taking advantage of each opportunity.

My favorite quote from this interview is, "I stay focused on the moment, focused on the present." One of the four factors that contribute to Mindset, is Attention. Staying in the present is a great way to clear the mind of the daily struggle and make the most of each opportunity allowing yourself to demonstrate discipline on the details.

I hope we can all learn from Will's accomplishments and his knowledge. Take this information to heart and use it to help you Exceed Your Potential! If you would like help in utilizing these Mindset techniques (and more!) sign up for a Performance Consultation Package now (or if you want Will's autograph..I know his coach pretty well, I should be able to get you one)!

Thank you Will for your time, and good luck at Speedos and the 2020 Olympic Trials!
